What We’re Made Of

Our Materials Philosophy

We start with the fabric. Always.

We launched TwoThirtyTwo with a mission to remove plastic from kids' clothes. No polyester, no nylon, no synthetics as our main material. Because what touches our skin matters - and we want better for our kids.

We aim for materials that feel good on the skin, stand the test of time, and align with our values.

This guide is the story of the fabrics behind our clothes. What they are, why we chose them, and what makes them special.

Our Northstar: Regenerative Cotton

Regenerative cotton is not just a fabric choice - it’s a value choice.
Regenerative cotton is not just about reducing the chemicals used in the process of farming cotton, it’s about changing the process entirely. It’s farmed in a way that restores soil health, supports biodiversity, and gives back more than it takes. (For example, the farm we use for our interlock saves 71% greenhouse gases compared to conventional cotton farming.) Where organic cotton focuses on reducing harm, regenerative cotton goes further - it’s about creating positive impact. It’s not just about doing less damage; it’s about actively improving the health of the land. That’s why we’re choosing regenerative: because once you know better, you do better. Our goal is to make regenerative cotton the foundation of all of our cotton styles. As access grows, so will our ability to use it across more of our styles.

Looking Ahead

Each fabric in our collection is chosen with care, intention, and curiosity - and this guide will grow as we do.
